Today, Wesley Hunt touted an endorsement from Rep. Steve Scalise — the second-ranking Republican in the House who over the weekend refused to admit that the 2020 election wasn’t stolen, choosing instead to cater to Trump’s wishes and place doubt (without any evidence) on the election results.
Wesley Hunt has spent his entire political career ducking and dodging the Texans he aims to represent while cozying up to the Washington swamp creatures and political insiders bankrolling his campaign. In light of Scalise’s endorsement and troubling refusal to admit the legitimacy of the 2020 election, Wesley Hunt must make it clear that he stands with American democracy — not his party leadership.
