| Less than two months into his flailing congressional campaign in CA-48, Jim Desmond is taking heat for dodging the local press.
Despite being anointed as the GOP candidate by Trump and D.C. party bosses, Desmond has repeatedly dodged invitations for a long-form, in-person interview with the Times of San Diego.
Now, Desmond is getting called out personally on air:
“Jim, we’ve reached out to your campaign a couple of times now. We very much want to have you on the show… We are trying to give our audience a full sense of the race in the 48th, and we can’t do that without you. So we hope you will come on – and sooner rather than later.” – Times of San Diego, Matt Strabone
