Rep. Kevin McCarthy: “If they come for members of Congress, they are coming for everybody”

After doing everything in his power to prevent an independent investigation into the deadly attack on our Capitol on January 6th, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is proving once again he is scared of the truth coming out.

The House GOP’s Extremist Ringleader is apparently surprised that the committee dedicated to uncovering the truth about the fatal insurrection is seeking phone records from anyone who may have information about the attack – potentially including himself and members of his caucus.
 

 

“Kevin McCarthy and his extremist NRCC campaign chair Rep. Tom Emmer are more dedicated to recruiting the insurrectionists that ransacked our Capitol as candidates for Congress than ensuring the American people learn the truth about January 6th,” said DCCC Spokesperson Chris Taylor. “What is Kevin so afraid of the committee finding?”
