After Elon Musk dumped over $2 million into his (ex) favorite Congressman’s campaign last cycle, self-declared “moderate” Mike Lawler is suddenly facing a bleak future without his favorite financier.

Elon Musk seems to be moving on…to say the least. So the question on everyone’s mind: What happens when you’ve repeatedly sold out your constituents and then your campaign’s billionaire benefactor stops footing the bill?

Together, DOGE, Elon Musk, and Lawler have shut down the only Social Security office in the Hudson Valley, jeopardized health care coverage for over 30,000 NY-17 residents, and put SNAP benefits at risk for over 18,000 households in the district – all to fund trillions in tax cuts for billionaires and wealthy corporations.

But now that Elon has turned the other shoulder, even Mike Lawler doesn’t want to face his new reality — running away from reporters and refusing to answer their questions.
