Fitzpatrick hasn’t held an in-person town hall since 2017. Where is he, and why won’t he hold one this August district work period?

Congress is out for the August district work period, which is typically when representatives connect with their constituents back at home. Now would be a particularly good time for Pennsylvanians to hear from their Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick: SEPTA is on the chopping block, Medicaid is being gutted, and costs just keep going up.

So where in the world is Brian Fitzpatrick?

Local outlets have reported that Fitzpatrick has not held an open, in-person town hall since 2017. That was a whopping 8 years ago.
SEPTA is being cut by Republicans in Harrisburg — including members who endorsed Fitzpatrick and are still proudly featured on his website. While other elected leaders are speaking out, Fitzpatrick says and does nothing.
A dark money conservative group is running an ad praising Fitzpatrick’s deciding vote to greenlight Republicans’ Medicaid cuts, but the congressman won’t answer questions from his constituents about his vote.
And we know Fitzpatrick already took a vacation to the lavender fields in France back in June… so he should have plenty of time to come home and meet with his constituents.

Ok, but seriously. Where is Brian Fitzpatrick?

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“I am genuinely asking: Where in the world is Brian Fitzpatrick? It’s been 8 years since the congressman held an in-person town hall to answer questions face-to-face from his own constituents. If Fitzpatrick won’t even show up back home to fight for SEPTA funding or protect his constituents’ health care, then he doesn’t deserve to represent Bucks and Montgomery families in Congress.”
