Amanda Adkins is nowhere to be found – and neither are her answers to some of the top issues facing Kansans, from securing our supply chain to protecting women’s access to health care.
Here are four questions Adkins must finally answer:

Will you stand with American workers, or with China?
The House just passed the America COMPETES Act, legislation that would boost American competitiveness with China, empower American workers, and tackle rising costs. Kansans deserve to know whether Adkins would have followed her Washington party bosses and voted against investing in jobs and manufacturing right here at home.

Do you agree with ending tax cuts for middle-class families?
The expanded Child Tax Credit gave the middle-class a much-needed tax cut and helped families cover essential costs like child care and groceries. But due to Republican opposition, the tax cut expired at the end of last year, leaving families without this critical support.

Would you support a Texas-style abortion ban in Kansas?
Given Adkins’ close ties to former Governor Brownback, who pushed to make abortion illegal even in cases of rape and incest, Kansans deserve know whether Adkins would back a Texas-style 6-week abortion ban that places bounties on doctors, family members, and anyone who tries to help women access abortion.

Do you agree that January 6 was “legitimate political discourse”?
The RNC declared January 6 “legitimate political discourse.” Adkins, who served as chair of the Kansas GOP, has refused to denounce the events of January 6 that left five dead and hundreds more injured – including Capitol Police officers. She also won’t say whether she agrees with her party that a lawless insurrection was legitimate political discourse.
