It’s been four days since CNN broke the story detailing Mark Robinson’s unacceptable actions, and Laurie Buckhout has yet to comment.
Buckhout hasn’t released a statement, called for Robinson to drop out of the race, or requested a refund for the more than $17,000 she and her husband have donated to his campaigns.
However, she did delete tweets with pictures of herself and Mark Robinson.
Buckhout’s lack of leadership is a stark contrast with Congressman Don Davis, who spoke out denouncing racism and antisemitism in any form.

“Laurie Buckhout’s failure to condemn objectively horrific words and actions is telling of her inability to lead and stand up for North Carolinians. Voters will remember what side she stood on and hold her accountable at the ballot box in November.”
