Today, the Biden Administration announced $16.4 billion to upgrade tracks, improve travel times, and reduce delays for Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor. The funding is being provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which Democrats passed to deliver real results for families and workers across New York.
Meanwhile, House Republicans are actively working to derail investments and slash Amtrak’s budget by 64%, with Anthony D’Esposito enabling their far-right policy agenda that will threaten jobs and make life worse for New Yorkers.
