As Americans see rising costs, higher gas prices, and uncertainty over their retirement and savings accounts, the Trump administration and House Republicans are content to sit back and watch them suffer.
Today, White House chief economic advisor Kevin Hassett made a stunning admission that hurting consumers is “the least of our concerns.”
That comes on the heels of Trump telling reporters that an ailing stock market is a “very small price to pay,” and that he actually “thought it would go down more.”
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“As families watch prices continue to rise by the day, Trump and House Republicans have a confusing message: deal with it. Prices are skyrocketing from the grocery store to the gas pump and Washington Republicans couldn’t care less.”
