Brian Fitzpatrick called in the Republican cavalry to save him in the closing days, and they delivered… with an ad just as pathetic as his campaign:
That’s right – the pro-Fitzpatrick ad from the Mike Johnson-run Conservative Leadership Fund (CLF) spells “Pennsylvania” wrong.
This isn’t the first time a pro-Fitzpatrick ad has made national headlines and humiliated the congressman. POLITICO, The Bulwark, WHYY, and other outlets have detailed how Fitzpatrick is using fake citations in his attack ads that are written by a convicted felon, racist, and longtime friend who he has directly paid.
Embarrassing? Yes. More embarrassing? While he pretends to be independent, Fitzpatrick is now scrambling for a last minute bailout to try and rescue his sinking campaign. CLF has poured millions of dollars behind Fitzpatrick in the closing days because they know a vote for Fitzpatrick is a vote to maintain a Republican majority in Congress.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“As a fourth-generation Bucks County resident who taught for 20 years at Bucks County Technical High School, Bob Harvie knows that ‘Pennsylvania’ has three Ns, two As, and – as Brian Fitzpatrick is going to learn come Tuesday – one L.”
