Congressman Rob Bresnahan has made a lot of headlines for lying to Northeastern Pennsylvanians.
Here’s a new one: Reporting reveals that Bresnahan’s so-called ‘Democrats for Rob Coalition’ is actually led by… you guessed it… Republicans!
It’s getting hard to keep track of all the lies Bresnahan has told NEPA voters. So here’s just a few notable ones that he’s told:
Lie #1:Bresnahan campaigned on a promise to ban congressional stock trading, saying as a candidate that it’s “wrong and needs to come to an end immediately.” Then Bresnahan went to Washington and made 600+ trades worth more than $7 million dollars.
Lie #2:Bresnahan claimed he did not have “any dialogues” with his financial advisor while serving in Congress. But in unearthed audio, Bresnahan admitted to having direct discussions about his upcoming stock positions, saying: “I meet with my financial advisor. We talk about, you know, what different positions are coming up.”
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin: “Corrupt Congressman Rob Bresnahan lies like he’s breathing. He has completely violated the trust of Northeastern Pennsylvanians and will be fired in November.”
