Elon’s financial backing of Lawler comes after he voted to gut New Yorkers’ health care and give massive tax breaks to billionaires and the ultra-wealthy like Musk.

Elon spent over $1.7 million backing Lawler last election cycle, which makes him Musk’s favorite Member of Congress and explains why Lawler has repeatedly sided with the ultra-wealthy and his billionaire backers over the Hudson Valley voters he promised to serve.
