Once again, Van Duyne has voted against uncovering the truth about January’s fatal attack on the Capitol
After shamefully voting against an independent commission to investigate the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, Rep. Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) has once again voted to stop a bipartisan commission from uncovering the truth about how the violent attack on our democracy happened.
With this vote, Van Duyne is cowering to extremists and turning her back on our democracy in an attempt to cover up the truth.
What is she so determined to hide?
“Instead of working to find out how a violent mob broke into the U.S. Capitol and put the lives of members, staff, Capitol Police, and the Vice President in grave danger, Beth Van Duyne is working to make sure the truth never sees the light of day,” said DCCC Spokesperson Monica Robinson. “Her caucus has clearly found common cause with extremists and insurrectionists, and Texans deserve better than this dangerous hyper-partisan effort to block the truth.”
