Once again, Schweikert has voted against uncovering the truth about January’s fatal attack on the Capitol
After shamefully voting against an independent commission to investigate the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, Rep. David Schweikert has once again voted to stop a bipartisan commission from uncovering the truth about how the violent attack on our democracy happened.
With this vote, Rep. Schweikert is cowering to extremists and turning his back on our democracy in an attempt to cover up the truth.
What is he so determined to hide?“Instead of working to find out how a violent mob broke into the U.S. Capitol and put the lives of members, staff, Capitol Police, and the Vice President in grave danger, Rep. David Schweikert is working to make sure the truth never sees the light of day,” said DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw. “Schweikert and his caucus has clearly found common cause with extremists and insurrectionists, and the people of Arizona deserve better than this dangerous hyper-partisan effort to block the truth.”
