Tom Kean Jr. has a message for his New Jersey constituents hoping to drive down and grab some sun at the Shore: You might want to bring your own sand.
That’s because for “the first time since 1996,” Kean Jr. and his fellow House Republicans stripped funding for beach replenishment projects along the Shore.
Reminder: Kean Jr. and House Republicans voted to add $3.4 trillion to our national debt in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires. But when it came time to fund beach replenishment for New Jersey, Kean Jr. was nowhere to be found.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Tom Kean Jr. and House Republicans are screwing over New Jersey beach-goers by stripping funding for beach replenishment on the Shore for the first time in nearly three decades. Kean Jr. votes with the swamp, when he should be advocating for New Jersey beaches instead.”
