Amanda Adkins has been eerily silent on the January 6th insurrection, but that hasn’t stopped her from gladly accepting the endorsement of Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise – both of whom are leading the fight to block a bipartisan investigation into the violent storming of the Capitol and are continually spreading lies about the 2020 election.
Now, as law enforcement officers recount the harrowing events of January 6th and call for accountability, Adkins has a choice to make.
Will Amanda Adkins side with the lies and partisanship of Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise, or will she back the brave law enforcement officers who defended the Capitol from attack?
“Kansans deserve to know whether Amanda Adkins agrees with Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise’s lies and obstruction around the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, which led to multiple law enforcement officers losing their lives and many more being injured. As the GOP continues to put politics over uncovering the truth, Adkins must pick a side,” said DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw.
