After being blasted in local media for his embrace of the Big Lie and January 6th insurrectionists, Rep. Ken Calvert and his supporters are at it again.
In late December, the Desert Sun reported that Joy Miedecke, president of the East Valley Republican Women Federated, was effusive in her support for Calvert, calling him “a wonderful man and a great legislator” and pledging, “whatever (Calvert) needs, we’ll be here for him.”
On January 7th, Miedecke took to Facebook Live on her organization’s page to spread disinformation about the insurrection, smear Capitol Police Officers, and falsely claim the 2020 election was stolen, including:

[3:40] Agreeing with her co-host who claimed that a Capitol Police Officer shot an insurrectionist “in cold blood.”

[6:20] Accusing President Biden of “lying like a pig” in his speech commemorating the one-year anniversary of the insurrection.

[8:40] Claiming that there may be 8 million uncounted ballots from the 2020 election in President Biden’s basement in Delaware.

[9:00] Agreeing with her co-host that she doesn’t accept the results of the 2020 election because it was “scientifically impossible” that Biden won Pennsylvania.

[21:52] Agreeing with her co-host who claimed “it isn’t a lie” to say the 2020 election was stolen. She said the “truth can’t get out in this world now” because the press is on the side of Democrats.

[32:33] Agreeing that “there’s absolutely no proof” that the election was not “rigged.”
