Recent reporting reveals that vulnerable Republican Mike Lawler has taken $21,000 in campaign donations from his disgraced GOP colleague Tony Gonzales’ leadership PAC, who admitted to engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate who later killed herself.
Records show that Lawler accepted four-figure donations from Gonzales’ PAC on at least five separate occasions:
Lawler’s own party bosses forced Gonzales to drop out of the race. So why hasn’t Lawler returned the tens of thousands of dollars he has taken from Gonzales? Lower Hudson Valley families deserve to know.
