| Nearly 2 million Pennsylvanians who rely on SNAP to feed their families are at risk of losing food assistance on November 1st.
Governor Josh Shapiro is taking action by suing the Administration to release funding in order to make sure Pennsylvanians can put food on the table.
Will Republican Congressmen Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, Scott Perry, and Brian Fitzpatrick stand with Governor Shapiro in order to make sure Pennsylvania families and children don’t go hungry?
Reminder: Republicans in Congress have refused to go to work to fund SNAP and have not held a vote on the floor since mid-September. In May, House Republicans voted for the largest cuts to SNAP in history and put 22.3 million families at risk of losing some or all of their food assistance.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“No Pennsylvania family or child deserves to go hungry because of Washington dysfunction. Republican Congressmen Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, Scott Perry, and Brian Fitzpatrick haven’t gone to work in more than month as costs skyrocket and food is set to be ripped off of families tables. Why won’t Pennsylvania’s Republican Congressmen do their jobs and make sure people don’t go hungry?” |
