Will Scott Perry Denounce His “Good Friend” White Nationalist Paul Gosar?

Gosar is Campaigning with White Supremacist Who Defended Segregation and Cast Doubt on Holocaust

Last night, reports found that Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ-04) will be fundraising with the leader of a group the Justice Department has labeled as a “white supremacist” organization.

Here is just a taste of the individual Rep. Gosar is fundraising with:

Fuentes has defended segregation and bemoaned the United States losing its “White demographic core.” He has cast doubt on the millions of deaths in the Holocaust and engaged in a lengthy metaphor likening the deaths to cookies baking in an oven. He labeled the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol “awesome” and the racist rally in Charlottesville that resulted in the death of a counterprotester “incredible.”

Rep. Scott Perry, who just last week made headlines for comparing his fellow Americans to Nazis and has pushed white supremacist ideas in committee hearings, votes with his right-wing friend Gosar 94% of the time, has described Gosar as a “good friend.”

James Singer, DCCC spokesperson
“It should come as no surprise that one of Perry’s favorite friends in D.C. is campaigning with a white supremacist, considering Perry himself pushes dangerous and bigoted ideas instead of working to help the people of Pennsylvania recover from a devastating pandemic. Perry should denounce Gosar and explain this ‘friendship’ to Pennsylvania voters.”
