Set to open his Houston HQ tomorrow and terrified to face the press, Wesley Hunt should condemn the president’s insulting remarks… but we’re not holding our breath
Tomorrow, Republican politician and Trump supporter Wesley Hunt will open his new campaign office in Texas’ 7th congressional district after getting smoked by about $200,000 in his third quarter fundraising report.
He’ll have some questions to answer.
During a rally in Dallas on Thursday night, President Trump falsely claimed Texans “made a fortune” from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey – a statement that was not only insulting but also factually wrong.
And earlier this year, Hunt cozied up to another politician who made light of Texans facing natural disasters.
In May, Hunt attended a fundraiser hosted by controversial Harris County Commissioner Steve Radack who sparked outrage after claiming “people enjoy floods.”
So, how does Wesley Hunt feel about President Trump’s insult to Houston? Come on out and ask him yourself!
