$31M in grassroots support powers DCCC’s Q4
Powered by record-breaking support from grassroots donors, the DCCC raised $345 million during the 2020 election cycle — more than $183 million from grassroots donors. In Q4 of 2020, the committee raised $67.4 million, with $31 million coming online, over the phone, and in the mail from grassroots supporters.
Thanks to grassroots support, the backing of House Democrats, and the hard work of Speaker Pelosi and House leadership, the DCCC enters the first quarter of 2021 with $21 million cash-on-hand. This strong financial starting point positions the DCCC to make aggressive, early investments that will hold Washington Republicans accountable for standing with the QAnon mob over the safety of Americans and the U.S. Constitution.
“Our grassroots supporters doubled-down on their investment to protect our House majority because they know putting economic relief in the hands of everyday Americans depends on President Biden and Vice President Harris having a Democratic House majority to work with as a partner,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “As we enter another election cycle with extraordinary challenges ahead for the American people, Democrats are in a strong position to protect this House majority because of the tireless work of Speaker Pelosi and Chairwoman Bustos, my predecessor at the DCCC. We know what is at stake, and the difference between the Washington Republican party — that is too weak to stand up to their QAnon mob — and Democrats — who are ready to get economic relief to struggling Americans, defeat COVID-19, and get everyday people back to work — has never been more clear.”
