| House Republicans advanced an extreme budget bill that would pay unaccountable ICE agents for three years with zero of the reforms Americans want and let Trump steal taxpayer dollars for a January 6th slush fund – but they can’t find a dollar to make life more affordable for the American people.
Republicans in Congress promised to lower the high cost of living – but have failed. Instead, these extremists have sent untrained ICE agents into our cities and streets to tear communities apart and in some cases kill American citizens.
At the same time, Americans have lost faith in Trump’s mass deportation machine. A survey found that 62 percent of Americans think ICE has gone “too far.”
