The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee unveiled a national digital ad buy blasting House Republicans for driving the nation over a health care cliff which will trigger a massive price hike for millions of Americans as soon as November 1st, when open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act begins.
As illustrated in the new ad, instead of averting a Republican health care price hike, House Republicans would rather relax and continue their (checks calendar) SIX week vacation – indifferent to the millions of working families who will be forced to pay more at a time when the cost of everything is already too expensive.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton: “The American people need real relief from the Republican health care crisis that is driving health care costs up by as much as double – but instead they get vacationing Republicans who can’t be bothered. Until Republicans come to work and do their damn job – the DCCC is going to hold every lazy, vulnerable House Republican accountable.”
