New AP-NORC poll finds that 6 in 10 Americans are concerned about rising health care costs – and that’s before millions of Americans face skyrocketing health insurance prices next month
Americans’ concerns about health care costs are rising, but House Republicans continue to refuse to do anything about it.
New AP-NORC polling revealed that 6 in 10 Americans are “extremely” or “very” concerned about health care costs rising next year. Thanks to House Republicans, the public has good reason to be.
The AP-NORC poll also showed that the public knows who they can trust, and who they will hold accountable for rising health care costs. A plurality (4 in 10) of Americans trust Democrats to do a better job handling health care, while only one-quarter trust Republicans on the issue.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“The American people want relief from rising medical costs, they know that Republicans have failed them, and it’s clear that only Democrats are fighting to save their health care. The longer Republicans refuse to do anything to help working families, the more voters will hold them accountable for skyrocketing health care costs, ultimately rejecting them in 2026.”
