Scott James and Gabe Evans are in trouble as voters continue to reject anti-choice extremists after the conservative Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade a year and a half ago.
Across the country yesterday, voters rejected anti-abortion politicians:
Virginians flipped control of the state House back into the hands of Democrats after Republicans repeatedly championed a strict abortion ban.
Kentuckians rejected a gubernatorial candidate who supported a state abortion ban.
Ohioans resoundingly passed a constitutional amendment guaranteeing access to abortion.
As Coloradans work to advance ballot measures that would enshrine abortion protections in the state constitution, Gabe Evans and Scott James will have a tough time explaining their anti-abortion agendas to voters who overwhelmingly support the right to choose.
Evans supports banning abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest and James called Colorado’s current abortion protections “horrible.”
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Voters have made it clear time and time again that they don’t want extreme politicians ripping away their reproductive freedom. Gabe Evans and Scott James would be a guaranteed vote for a national abortion ban in Congress, and Coloradans will reject them next November.”
