Yet Another Special Election Result Shows Democrats Poised to Flip OH-15

On Tuesday, Democrats overperformed by a whopping 13 points in the TN-07 special election, with midterm level turnout.

With that level of overperformance on Trump’s +10 margin in OH-15, Democrats would flip this seat and win by three points.

It’s no surprise that voters have had enough of Washington Republicans’ agenda of slashing health care, raising prices, backing reckless tariffs further hurting the farm economy, and putting billionaires and special interests first at working families’ expense.

REMINDER: Cook Political highlighted that Ohio’s 15th congressional district is in play for 2026, reporting that Mike Carey “may not be able to take reelection for granted in 2026.”

DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“It’s a bad day to be Mike Carey. Democrats are on offense and we’ll compete aggressively to flip this seat – and we will win, because Ohioans are tired of Republicans’ agenda of higher costs, health care cuts, and tax breaks for billionaires.”
