Yet Another Special Election Result Shows Democrats Poised to Keep ME-02

On Tuesday, Democrats overperformed by a whopping 13 points in the TN-07 special election, with midterm level turnout.

With that level of overperformance on Trump’s +9 margin in ME-02, Democrats would keep this seat and win by four points.

It’s no surprise that voters have had enough of self-serving politicians’ toxic agenda of slashing health care, raising prices, and putting billionaires and special interests first at working families’ expense.

REMINDER: Paul LePage lost by 13 points last time he ran for office in Maine – then he moved to Florida and ran out on Mainers.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“It’s a bad day to be Paul LePage. Democrats are on offense and we’ll compete aggressively to keep this seat – and we will win, because Mainers are tired of Republicans’ agenda of higher costs, health care cuts, and tax breaks for billionaires.”
