Today, another New Mexico paper called out Yvette Herrell for claiming credit for funding she voted against.
After voting against holding the federal government accountable and denying historic aid to compensate families for their losses, Herrell had the gall to congratulate herself for funding she actively opposed.
“In the face of a historic wildfire, Yvette Herrell once again voted no and shamelessly took the dough,” said DCCC spokesperson Maddy Mundy. “New Mexico families deserve a representative who will fight for their wellbeing, not just try to score political points off their pain.”
