Today, Zach Nunn, who sits on the House Agriculture Committee, signed on to a phony legislative maneuver that says the quiet part out loud: the budget blueprint he voted for — TWICE — would slash Medicaid and take food off the table for hungry children and families.
Zach Nunn is on the run and desperately trying to distract from his disastrous bill by introducing phony resolutions that do nothing to protect Medicaid and food assistance.
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“If Zach Nunn really wanted to save Medicaid and SNAP, he should have voted ‘NO’ on the Republican budget that cuts both. No matter how hard he tries to run away from it, Zach Nunn’s vote to rip away health care and take food off the table of working families will cost him his job next year.”
