This week, Zach Nunn refused to tell Iowa voters whether he’d support bipartisan legislation to help millions of veterans suffering from the effects of toxic exposure get the care they need after serving our country.
The Honoring Our PACT Act, which Congresswoman Cindy Axne supported when it passed the House in March, would ensure that veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country get the support they need when they come home.
“While Cindy Axne is working across the aisle to get our veterans the health care they deserve, Zach Nunn is running from questions like a typical career politician,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “Nunn’s refusal to take a stand is a clear sign he can’t be trusted to look out for Iowans’ best interests.”
