Zach Nunn helped pave the way for Iowa’s dangerous abortion ban that took effect this week, so there’s no question he’ll champion Project 2025, an extreme, anti-abortion manifesto that would have far-reaching consequences for Iowa families.
Nunn’s Project 2025 would restrict abortion care nationwide by:
Proposing the government monitor abortion networks by collecting data about who had abortions and where — and punish any states that refuse to share that information.
Zach Nunn has repeatedly attacked reproductive freedom for Iowa women. Nunn voted for a previous version of Iowa’s near-total abortion ban and voted for a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa.
Nunn can’t wait to implement his agenda nationwide. He supported a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life and has voted repeatedly to restrict reproductive freedom across the country, including legislation imprisoning doctors who perform abortions and blocking reproductive health care access for members of the armed services.

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Zach Nunn will stop at nothing to ban abortion nationwide and no amount of hiding his dangerous Project 2025 will convince Iowans otherwise. Lanon Baccam will win in November and protect Iowa women’s freedoms by making Roe v. Wade the law of the land once again.”
