Ryan Zinke and House Republicans continue to prove they’re incapable of governing. Now, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, who appointed Zinke to his Cabinet, is calling on congressional Republicans to shut down the federal government.
As Zinke joins extremists in their efforts to push forward partisan legislation that would move us toward a shutdown, hardworking Montana families could pay the price – including veterans using critical services, seniors who could experience delays accessing Social Security benefits, and tribal communities whose government support services could be halted.

“Trump has issued marching orders to Ryan Zinke, who has proven he’ll stand with Trump and other MAGA extremists over Montanans every time. It’s clear he’ll side with extremists again to shut down the government and hurt Montana families.”
