New independent polling conducted by KAAL-TV and SurveyUSA finds Jake Johnson leading Brad Finstad, 46% to 44%.
Additional key findings:
- The poll found Jake’s favorability at +11, while Finstad’s is underwater at -8.
- Trump is 16 points underwater, despite winning MN-01 by 12 points in 2024.
The poll is the second in a month to show Johnson leading Finstad, following an HMP poll in September that had Jake up 47–46.
It comes on the heels of non-partisan race rater Inside Elections shifting their prediction for MN-01 in Johnson’s direction — flashing major warning signs for Brad Finstad as Minnesotans sour on his reckless agenda of gutting health care, jacking up costs, and putting MN-01 families last.
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Brad Finstad is in trouble. Finstad voted to raise prices while cashing checks from and giving handouts to data center developers – Southern Minnesota is ready for change and Jake will win this race.”
