🚨 RATINGS CHANGE: Cook Political Report Shifts OH-10 in Democrats’ Direction

Non-partisan race-rater Cook Political Report shifted their prediction for Ohio’s 10th Congressional District towards Democrats to ‘Lean R’ — the latest sign that Ohioans are ready to flip the district blue.

Cook writes in part:

• Private polling now shows Turner neck-and-neck with his Democratic opponent, Air Force veteran Kristina Knickerbocker.
• Turner, tellingly, is now airing coordinated ads with the NRCC, and Safety and Affordability PAC has started spending in this seat.
• [Turner’s] done little to break with Trump over the past two years and is getting hammered for his support for the war with Iran.
• Trump, who won this district by just eight points in 2024, is an anchor on the congressman, who may also need to overperform Republicans Jon Husted and Vivek Ramaswamy to hold on to his seat.
• This now looks like a competitive race, shifting it from Likely to Lean Republican.
