| Fox News Power Rankings today updated its rating for Nevada’s Second District, the latest bad news for scandal-ridden David Flippo as he doubles down on the same cost-hiking policies that are making life harder for Nevadans.
REMINDER: Flippo was caught red-handed repeatedly lying about his military record, falsely claiming that he earned a Bronze Star “for valor” even though he didn’t. Recent bombshell reporting reveals Flippo was actually fired from his role as aircraft maintenance squad commander over his “ability to command.” If that wasn’t enough, Flippo has faced widespread scrutiny for failing to officially disclose information related to his finances – all while he self-funds his campaign to the tune of $1.6 million.
Fox News Power Rankings’ update comes soon after Cook Political Report shifted their ranking towards Democrats, as well as recent polling showing Teresa Benitez-Thompson leading Flippo in NV-02.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Fraudster David Flippo has lied about everything from stolen valor to his finances, and now even Republicans can’t bear to support him. Nevadans are ready for real leadership to get costs down, restore health care, and root out corruption in Washington, which is why they’ll enthusiastically vote for Teresa Benitez-Thompson this November.” |
