Democrats take “edge” in race for control of the House
With less than 100 days to go until the midterms, the House battlefield continues to move in Democrats’ direction.Â
New ratings changes from Sabato’s Crystal Ball moves THIRTEEN races in Democrats’ direction, including vulnerable Republicans:
Chuck Edwards (NC-11) → Lean Republican to Toss-up
Mike Lawler (NY-17) → Lean Republican to Toss-up
Max Miller (OH-07) → Likely Republican to Lean RepublicanÂ
Rob Bresnahan (PA-08) → Lean Republican to Toss-upÂ
OPEN (SC-01) → Safe Republican to Likely RepublicanÂ
Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) → Likely Republican to Lean RepublicanÂ
The latest shift comes as Democrats took an eight-point lead on the generic congressional ballot in the latest CNN poll.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton: “All of the momentum is behind Democrats in the fight for the House because the American people are with us. Our candidates and Frontline incumbents have a disciplined message of making life more affordable, and we will continue to deliver this winning message to every voter across the battlefield every day.”
