🚨 TONY GONZALES BECOMES 34TH HOUSE GOP RETIREMENT

House Republicans have tied their 2018 retirement number

After GOP leadership spent weeks protecting, coddling, and supporting Tony Gonzales to the tune of over half a million dollars for his primary, he has announced his retirement.

Gonzales becomes the 34th House Republican to announce their retirement during the 119th Congress — and officially tying the number of GOP departures during the 2018 election cycle where House Democrats won 41 seats.

What’s worse for GOP Leadership? They will now be defending a notorious antisemite with a proclivity to display Nazi propaganda, Brandon Herrera, AKA “The AK Guy.”

DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“Deputy Speaker Mike Johnson tried to quietly push sexual harasser Tony Gonzales through his primary out of fear of defending a Neo-Nazi. Now Gonzales is gone and House Republicans have added another casualty to their massive retirement list. Good riddance.”

REMINDER: As a result of historic GOP retirements, Republicans are also losing incumbents in swing-districts that the DCCC is targeting. Those include: AZ-01, IA-02, KY-06, MI-10, MT-01, NE-02, and SC-01.
