A brand new poll from Emerson College Polling / PIX11 News shows Army combat veteran Cait Conley leading vulnerable Republican Mike Lawler 48% – 46% in New York’s 17th Congressional District.
The poll finds that Lawler is underwater with NY-17 voters.His favorability is down seven points from a similar Emerson poll taken two years ago, and his unfavorable rating increased four points. Conley’s net favorability is 10 points higher than Lawler’s.
As Lawler continues to vote with Donald Trump 100% of the time at the expense of his own constituents, Trump is underwaterin NY-17 by 10 points.
This poll comes on the heels of a record-shattering fundraising haul for Conley, who brought inover $5 MILLION in the third quarter of 2026.
