| According to an explosive new report, a filed complaint is calling for an investigation into Corrupt Young Kim – who racked up nearly $50,000 worth of luxury, privately funded travel and failed to disclose any of it, in violation of federal law.
The complaint lays out a pattern of deception: Kim failed to report lavish cross-country and international trips, complete with five-star hotels for her and her husband. Federal law requires lawmakers to disclose this travel every year under the Ethics in Government Act.
And even after multiple reminders from the House Committee on Ethics, Kim still refused to come clean.
It’s an especially bad look for Kim, who’s already locked in an expensive, ugly primary “fight for [her] political [life].” Just yesterday, one of her own SoCal colleagues was caught on a hot mic suggesting she should back out of her looming cage match with Ken Calvert.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“While California families are being crushed by the cost of living, Young Kim is busy living it up in five-star hotels and hiding the truth from her constituents. Voters deserve better than a clear pattern of corruption and lawbreaking, and Kim deserves to be held accountable.”
