| Today, independent race rater Cook Political Report shifted its rating for Indiana’s 5th Congressional District towards Democrats as Victoria Spartz spirals even further out of control.
Cook Political Report’s analysis states that “It’s clear that Spartz, who has faced serious primary challenges, is struggling to consolidate her base. Her own unpopularity, coupled with Trump’s sagging approval rating, puts this seat in contention.”
Polling in the race points to a statistical tie as Hoosiers learn about her votes to gut affordable healthcare in Indiana.
