Sabato’s Crystal Ball updated its rating for Montana’s First District in smokejumper and union leader Sam Forstag’s direction, officially declaring the race a toss-up.
With just one week until election day, Aaron Flint has made clear he’d rubberstamp the same disastrous agenda that’s raising costs on Montanan families. Meanwhile, Forstag continues to rake in support from both sides of the aisle as he champions the issues that matter most to Montanans: lowering costs, restoring health care cuts, and rooting corruption out of Washington.
The ratings change is the sixth ratings change for Forstag in the last month alone, a clear sign that Montanans are hungry for change.
DCCC Spokesperson Linsday Reilly:
“As costs continue to rise on everything from the gas station to the grocery store, D.C. party bosses are doing everything they can to save Aaron Flint’s tanking campaign so they can elect another empty suit. Montanans know and trust Sam Forstag to work for them, and that’s why they’re going to send him to Congress next month.”
