Inside Elections: “This has quickly become one of the buzziest races on the map.”
Yesterday, the non-partisan election forecaster Inside Elections moved Iowa’s 1st Congressional District to a “Toss Up,” while National Journal listed Miller-Meeks as one of the most likely members of Congress to lose their seat in November.
Christina Bohannan has continued to gain momentum, overtaking Miller-Meeks in cash-on-hand, outraisinghereverysingle quarter she’s been in the race, and leading in recent polling.
Iowa voters are getting a front row seat to Miller-Meeks’ pattern of siding with her party bosses and special interest donors over middle class families. Miller-Meeks voted against lowering prescription drug costs while taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from the drug industry.
Miller-Meeks also has one of the most extreme anti-abortion records, laying the groundwork for Iowa’s dangerous abortion ban and co-sponsoring a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
