DCCC releases memo on House Republicans’ first 100 days in the majority
Today marks 100 days of a Republican House Majority and 100 days of Kevin Kiley spending his days in Congress failing to deliver for Californians – instead working in lockstep with the far-right to advance an extreme MAGA agenda. The early days of Kiley’s lack of leadership have made the stakes for 2024 clear.
In the past 100 days, House Republicans have prioritized:
Trying to relitigate January 6th by handing all footage over to known conspiracy theorist Tucker Carlson and treating defendants as celebrities when they went to visit them in jail;
Threatening catastrophic default by holding the US economy hostage unless they can force extreme cuts to popular programs children and families rely on;
And Kiley has been with them nearly every step of the way. Read more about House Republicans’ first 100 days in this newly released DCCC memo.
DCCC spokesperson Tommy Garcia:
“Kevin Kiley’s first 100 days of the 118th Congress have been nothing short of embarrassing. Rather than delivering for his constituents, Kiley has worked in lockstep with some of the most extreme House Republicans to push an out-of-touch and dangerous agenda that puts party politics first and people last. The choice is clear and in 2024 voters will reject Kiley.”
