Last week, Ashley Hinson and the Republican Study Committee doubled down on calls to “end abortion” nationwide in their newly released agenda.
While Republican leadership has already promised to pass a nationwide abortion ban, the RSC’s agenda explicitly states, “we support efforts to end abortion, which ends the lives of hundreds of thousands of children every year and to support mothers facing crisis pregnancies so that abortion becomes not only illegal but unthinkable.”
Hinson has already made her radical position clear: she supports a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or to save the life of the woman that could throw doctors and nurses in jail for performing abortions.
DCCC spokesperson Matt Corridoni:
“Ashley Hinson’s priority is to ‘end abortion’ with no exceptions, and it is in writing. It’s cruel and Hinson must tell voters why she thinks she should be making decisions about a health care procedure that should be left to a woman, her doctor, and family.”
