Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not.
Today is the birthday of the number one Trump presidency apologist from the Golden State’s Congressional Delegation, Rep. Devin Nunes of CA-22 – we congratulate him on taking another trip around the sun in his last term in office.
As Nunes celebrates and eats his cake today, wondering how he went from a quiet GOP backbencher from the Central Valley to now living in the FOX News greenroom, we came up with some gift ideas that would go well with his years of disservice to the voters of California’s Central Valley:
- A farm larger than a parking space so that he can honestly claim to be a farmer from the Central Valley.
- Nunes may be in need of free legal counsel, following his multiple frivolous lawsuits this year against a fake cow, a local newspaper, social media platforms and even against four of his own constituentsincluding a 71-year old farmer who prays for Nunes.
- A new microphone so that Nunes can continue to sit in his podcast studio and avoid his constituents.
- A new pair of running shoes as he sprints away from his constituents and runs straight into his next FOX News segment to tout the latest conspiracy to defend the president’s reckless abuses of power.
- Someone to buy his “best-selling” book, which he sadly claimed made him zero dollars in royalties this last year.
- A personal private jet so that he doesn’t have to “be hassled” by the FEC for booking his usual chartered luxury jets.
“As he enters his 46th year around the sun, Congressman Devin Nunes should take stock of his political careerism as reality sets in that Nunes’ number one priority is protecting Donald Trump and not the voters of CA-22,” said DCCC Spokesperson, Andy Orellana. “Between an aggressive, almost pathological avoidance of the people he is supposed to be representing and his support of a toxic Trump-GOP Agenda that completely ignores California families, Central Valley voters’ patience for Nunes’ behavior is wearing thin.”
