George Logan has yet again signaled his full alignment with the right-wing leadership of his party by hosting a high-dollar fundraiser with Trumpist Elise Stefanik.
Stefanik is “ultra-MAGA and proud of it” and has embraced racist, neo-Nazi conspiracy theories including the “replacement theory.”
Stefanik has used her unwavering loyalty to Donald Trump to rise to the top of GOP leadership, and actively collaborated with his efforts to stop certification of the 2020 Election in Congress. Logan himself has refused to say that President Biden won the 2020 election fairly and encouraged extremists to question the results.
Stefanik is a radical opponent of reproductive rights and an ardent supporter of a national ban on abortion. She is the latest in a series of anti-choice hardliners who Logan has brought to the district while attempting to hide his own anti-choice track record.
Logan even recently said he supported the overturning of Roe v. Wade, enabling extreme abortion bans – some with no exceptions for rape or incest – in states around the country.
