| If recent polling has not convinced you that Mike Johnson’s paper–thin House majority is at risk, consider this: Americans’ top issue this election is rising costs, and voters trust Democrats more with fixing Republicans’ disastrous economy. Democrats lead on the average generic ballot by nearly 9% — in 2018, Democrats won the national House vote by 8.6% and secured the majority.
Republicans’ failed leadership has cost Americans — literally. In 2026 alone, Americans will have paid an additional $699 in gas costs and the average health care deductible skyrocketed by more than $1,000. Working Americans know they deserve better — this November they will elect a Democratic Majority that fights for them, not for the D.C. elite.
DCCC Spokesperson Bridget Gonzalez:
“These self-serving House Republicans have nothing to show for their majority except for their broken promises and an economy swirling faster down the drain. Voters will hold them accountable for their failed leadership this November.” |
