Today, the American Independent reported that Representative Mike Garcia accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Republican Senate candidate Jim Lamon, who, in 2020, pretended to be a member of the Electoral College in an attempt to void the will of voters by casting a fraudulent vote for Donald Trump.
Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election, but that didn’t stop Lamon and other supporters of former President Donald Trump in seven states from attempting to void Americans’ votes. After refusing to certify the results of the 2020 election, Mike Garcia has doubled-down on the Big Lie by accepting thousands in campaign contributions from a fraudulent actor who sought to subvert the will of voters.
This is only the latest anti-democratic revelation from Mike Garcia. Just last week, he compared the brave men and women who risked their lives defending our democracy from a violent insurrection to Nazi secret police.
