In case you missed it, (most did since the Steel for Congress campaign launch was made 30 miles north of CA-48 in Downtown Los Angeles and not in Orange County) career politician and Trump-acolyte Michelle Park Steel officially announced her campaign for Congress… BUT as reported by the AP, “did not mention the president in her announcement.”
In the past, Steel had never failed to fully embrace the President. In the past, Steel has happily greeted him on the tarmac. Earlier this year, she even eagerly accepted a presidential appointment to serve as co-chair to President Trump’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders…So why is she now hiding from President Trump?
“Michelle Park Steel can try to run from her record, but she can’t hide from President Trump,” said DCCC Spokesperson, Andy Orellana. “From the GOP Tax Scam that is hitting millions of California families this tax season to rising premiums on healthcare, middle class families in California can’t afford the Trump-Steel agenda.”
